ESCANABA, Mich. (AP) - Mourners arrived in a steady stream Sunday to remember a woman who police say was strangled and dismembered by her husband at their home in a Detroit suburb.
Visitation for Tara Grant was held at Crawford Funeral Home in Escanaba, near the town of Perkins, where she grew up on Michigan's Upper Peninsula. Her funeral was scheduled for Monday.
"When a tragedy like this occurs, as a community we're emotionally invested with the family," said Escanaba police chief James Hansen.
