LONDON (AP) - The U.S. dollar weakened against other major currencies in late European trading Monday. Gold was mixed.
The euro traded at $1.3333, up from $1.3290 late Friday in New York. Later, in midday trading in New York, the euro fetched $1.3328.
Other dollar rates in Europe, compared with late Friday, included 117.79 Japanese yen, down from 118.05; 1.2138 Swiss francs, down from 1.2183; and 1.1608 Canadian dollars, slipping from 1.1609.
