 HONIARA, Solomon Islands (AP) - In an April 12 story about a U.S. Navy ship helping a grounded Taiwanese vessel in the Solomon Islands, The Associated Press incorrectly identified the Navy ship. It was the USNS GYSGT Fred W. Stockham, not the USS Frederick W. Stockton.

HONIARA, Solomon Islands (AP) — A Navy helicopter airlifted more than 20 people off a fishing boat that struck a reef while ferrying a medical team to help tsunami victims in the Solomon Islands, an official said Friday.
