COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) - Taylor Twellman added to his record as the leading scorer in New England Revolution history in a 2-2 tie with the Columbus Crew on Thursday night.
Twellman scored in the 38th minute after bringing the ball into Crew territory from the halfway line and lacing a low, 30-yard shot that beat goalkeeper Andy Gruenebaum.
It was Twellman's third goal in five days. He scored twice in New England's 4-0 win over Toronto FC last Saturday and has 78 goals in six seasons for the Revolution.
