LONDON (AP) - The U.S. dollar was mixed against most other major currencies in European trading Friday morning. Gold prices rose.
The euro traded at $1.3592, down from $1.3603 late Thursday in New York. The single currency is less than a penny short of its all-time high of $1.3667 in December 2004.
Later, in midday trading in New York, the euro fetched $1.3596.
