FREDERICK, Md. (AP) - The FBI has interviewed relatives and inspected legal papers in El Salvador as part of an investigation into the slayings of four children in Maryland and the disappearance of their mother.
Deysi Benitez, 25, was last seen March 18 in Frederick. On March 26, the bodies of her husband and children were found in the family's town house in the western Maryland town.
The father, Pedro Rodriguez, 28, had hanged himself, the three daughters were suffocated and the son had been bludgeoned. Police have not revealed any leads on possible suspects or a motive.
