PHOENIX (AP) - A bomb threat prompted an evacuation at the state Capitol Friday, but workers were allowed to return after about three hours when nothing was found.
Police bomb units with explosive-sniffing dogs searched the Executive Tower and the Senate and House buildings, Department of Administration spokesman Alan Ecker said.
The evacuation was ordered after a caller told police at 7:21 a.m. that he would detonate a bomb, Ecker said.
