LAGUNA BEACH, Calif. (AP) - A man and a woman were found dead in a hotel room at a luxury oceanfront resort Sunday after police were called to intervene in a domestic dispute, authorities said.
Police were called to the Montage Resort and Spa by a security guard who said a man and a woman were engaged in a domestic dispute, authorities said. A subsequent caller said there was a "crazy woman with a gun," in the hotel's parking garage.
Officers tried to resolve the situation peacefully, police said, but the two adults refused to cooperate and the fatal gunshots were fired.
