LONDON (AP) - The U.S. dollar traded higher against other major currencies in late European trading Monday. Gold fell.
The euro traded at $1.3564, down from $1.3601 late Friday in New York. Later, in midday trading in New York, the euro fetched $1.3568.
Other dollar rates in Europe, compared with late Friday, included 118.78 Japanese yen, up from 118.74; 1.2105 Swiss francs, up from 1.2072; and 1.1222 Canadian dollars, up from 1.1218.
