LONDON (AP) - The U.S. dollar weakened against other major currencies in late European trading Wednesday. Gold traded lower in London.
The euro traded at $1.3654, up from $1.3626 late Tuesday in New York. Later, in midday trading in New York, the euro fetched $1.3647.
Other dollar rates in Europe, compared with late Tuesday, included 118.52 Japanese yen, down from 118.68; 1.2019 Swiss francs, down from 1.2028; and 1.1145 Canadian dollars, down from 1.1228.
