MOSCOW, Idaho (AP) - Idaho sophomore defensive tackle Marvin C. Jones Jr., accused of selling cocaine to undercover police officers, was arrested after a two-week investigation, Assistant Police Chief David Duke said Friday.
Jones was arrested Thursday and booked into the Latah County Jail for investigation of three counts of delivery of a controlled substance. The 20-year-old player posted $10,000 bond and was released after a court appearance Friday, according to Latah County Jail records.
The arrest came after an investigation in which Jones is accused of selling cocaine to undercover officers on three separate occasions, Duke said. A search of Jones' apartment netted more than $1,600 in cash, including marked money that officers used in the undercover buys, Duke said.
