ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. (AP) - A new nonstop flight connecting the nation's two main gambling hotspots began operating Thursday.
One flight is to fly each way each day between Atlantic City International Airport and McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas. The first westbound flight departed Atlantic City shortly before 7 p.m. The first flight from Las Vegas was due to arrive at 5 a.m. Friday.
The Spirit Airlines flight will be a convenience for casino operators that have operations in both cities and need to shuttle their executives between them.
