ANAHEIM, Calif. (AP) - The Ducks are in no great rush to begin the Western Conference finals, nor to learn their next opponent. "I think it's very important for this team to have a few days off and reload the batteries," Anaheim's Teemu Selanne said after Thursday's 2-1, double-overtime win over Vancouver wrapped up that series in five games.
The Ducks may have to wait for almost a week to find out their conference finals foe. Detroit and San Jose are tied 2-2 in the other Western Conference semifinal. If that series goes the distance, the seventh game would be played May 9.
Selanne said the break will help.
