 SALT LAKE CITY (AP) - Jeff Cunningham converted a penalty kick in the 90th minute and Chris Brown scored the tying goal in stoppage time to help Real Salt Lake salvage a 3-3 draw with the New York Red Bulls on Saturday night.
Former RSL captain Jason Kreis made his coaching debut for Real Salt Lake (0-2-3). The team fired John Ellinger and replaced him with Kreis, who accepted the head coaching position Thursday.
New York's Clint Mathis scored two goals and assisted on another against his former team.
