Treasury Bonds Inch Up in Quiet Trading

NEW YORK (AP) - U.S. Treasury prices ended flat or slightly up on Monday, a quiet day free of U.S. economic news.

At 5 p.m. EDT, the 10-year Treasury note was up 63 cents per $1,000 in face value, or 2/32 point, from its level at 5 p.m. Friday. Its yield, which moves in the opposite direction, fell to 4.63 percent from 4.64 percent.

The 30-year bond rose 10/32 point. Its yield fell to 4.79 percent from 4.81 percent.
