 FLINT, Mich. (AP) - Now that she's an ex-"American Idol" contestant, LaKisha Jones says she's focusing on two goals: a record contract and a new home.
The 27-year-old single mother and Flint native was booted from Fox network's talent contest Wednesday night.
Jones spoke Thursday morning with WJBK-TV in Detroit, telling an interviewer that she is looking forward to pursuing a recording career and eventually moving into a new home.
