BOSTON (AP) - A couple accused of killing their 4-year-old daughter by a drug overdose have been asked to allow their other two children to be adopted, one suspect's mother said.
Michael and Carolyn Riley were charged with murder after Rebecca died Dec. 13 from overdosing on prescribed psychiatric drugs.
The Department of Social Services has asked the Rileys to sign a "service plan" for their other two children a 6-year-old girl and a 12-year-old boy which includes adoption, according to Carolyn Riley's mother, Valerie Berio.
