This undated image provided by the Drug Enforcement Agency shows evidence seized during arrests in connection with a smuggling ring. More than three dozen people have been arrested on U.S. drug trafficking charges in connection with the ring that allegedly moved more than 350 kilograms of high-grade Colombian heroin into the United States. Couriers ferried heroin through the border crossing at Calexico, Mexico, and then transported it to San Diego or to Phoenix, Las Vegas and Palm Springs for shipment to the East Coast, according to federal law enforcement officials. The drugs were sewn into jacket linings, rolled into jeans and concealed in baby blankets and table linens.
