HOT SPRINGS, Ark. (AP) - A woman described by amusement ride inspectors as too large for a roller coaster has sued an Arkansas park and the ride's importer over injuries she suffered in a fall last summer.
Felicia Robinson, 49, of Memphis, Tenn., seeks $16 million in damages from the Magic Springs & Crystal Falls amusement park and Zamperla Inc. of Parsippany, N.J. She alleges that park workers seated her improperly and that Zamperla did not provide enough safety features.
Robinson, who fell 11 feet from the Twist 'n Shout roller coaster and struck a metal electric cable box, said in her federal lawsuit that she has not been able to work since the July 29 accident.
