NEW YORK (AP) - U.S. Treasury bond prices were unchanged to slightly lower Friday, despite what might have been supportive home sales data ahead of the U.S. holiday weekend.
At 2 p.m. EDT, the 10-year Treasury note was down $1.25 per $1,000 in face value, or 4/32 point, from its level at 5 p.m. Thursday. Its yield, which moves in the opposite direction, rose to 4.86 percent from 4.84 percent.
The 30-year bond fell 6/32 point. Its yield rose to 5.00 percent from 4.99 percent.
