ALVISO, Calif. (AP) - TiVo Inc. posted its first-ever profit Wednesday as revenue increased.
For the quarter ended April 30, the pioneer of digital video recorders earned $835,000, a penny per share, compared with a loss of $10.7 million, or 13 cents per share, in the same period a year ago.
On an adjusted basis, the company recorded a first-quarter profit of $6.7 million versus a year-ago loss of $6.9 million.
