 MILWAUKEE (AP) - Ben Sheets considers the past several weeks for the Milwaukee Brewers a missed opportunity — a failed chance to take an even bigger lead in the National League Central.
Sheets pitched six shutout innings and the Brewers won their first series in nearly a month with a 3-0 victory over the Florida Marlins on Sunday.
The win kept Milwaukee 6 1/2 games up on the second-place St. Louis Cardinals.
