 HOUSTON (AP) - Albert Pujols homered twice on Sunday and nearly had two more, an encouraging sign for the St. Louis Cardinals. Pujols and So Taguchi hit 10th-inning home runs off Dan Wheeler, lifting the Cardinals to an 8-6 win over the Houston Astros on Sunday.
After flying out twice to deep center field, Pujols hit his first home run in the eighth inning off Chad Qualls.
The Cardinals' slugger hit only three homers in May, and even Pujols was wondering where his power had gone. Patience helped him find it again.
