 BOSTON (AP) - Alex Rodriguez ended a tumultuous weekend with a tiebreaking homer in the ninth inning against the Yankees' biggest rival. Rodriguez's solo shot on an 0-2 pitch from star closer Jonathan Papelbon gave New York a come-from-behind 6-5 victory over the Boston Red Sox on Sunday night and a 2-1 edge in the series.
Rodriguez was mocked by Red Sox fans during all three games.
On Friday night, many of them held masks picturing a blonde-haired woman in front of their faces — a reference to photos published last week of the married Rodriguez with a blonde woman in Toronto.
