HOUSTON (AP) - Oil and natural gas producer Anadarko Petroleum Corp. said late Sunday it is selling natural gas gathering systems and associated processing plants to Atlas Pipeline Partners LP for $1.85 billion.
The sale includes Anadarko's interests in its Chaney Dell system located in Oklahoma and southern Kansas. The system includes about 3,500 miles of gathering lines and processing plants with a combined processing capacity of approximately 230 million cubic feet of natural gas per day.
Also included in the sale is Anadarko's 73 percent interests in the Midkiff/Benedum gathering systems and processing plants, representing about 2,500 miles of gathering lines and processing plants with capacity of about 170 million cubic feet per day.
