DARWIN, Australia (AP) - The remains of two Australian soldiers killed in the Vietnam War were repatriated on Tuesday, more than 40 years after their deaths, an official said.
It was the first repatriation for Australia since the war ended in 1975, officials said.
An Australian air force C-130 Hercules transport aircraft carried the remains in two wooden coffins draped with Australian flags from Hanoi, Vietnam to Darwin, Australia's northernmost city, Veterans Affairs Minister Bruce Billson said.
