MONTREAL (AP) - There have been a lot of spectacular crashes at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve over the years and Alexander Wurz got a real close look at one of them — too close.
It was 1998 and Wurz, in his first full season in Formula One, was driving for Benetton and getting some attention for his obvious talent.
Suddenly his season — and his world — went upside down.
