 PHOENIX (AP) - Barry Bonds returned to the San Francisco Giants' starting lineup Thursday night after sitting out the first two games against Arizona with shin splints.
"I'm feeling a lot better," Bonds said, standing at his locker before heading out for batting practice.
The slugger took his pregame cuts for the first time since Monday and was smiling and laughing while sitting alongside his teammates watching a movie in the clubhouse. He has been taking prednisone to help lessen the swelling in his legs.
