MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - Dmitri Young and the Washington Nationals thought they had an early lead with an upper-deck home run. Then the umpires conferred, the ball was ruled foul, and the Minnesota Twins seized the momentum.
Torii Hunter had three hits, Jason Bartlett snapped out of a slump with two RBIs, and the Twins beat the Nationals 6-3 on Sunday to salvage the final game of their interleague series.
The first inning provided a good omen for the Twins.
