TORONTO (AP) - Roy Halladay is back in the groove. That doesn't mean he'll stop working to get even better. Troy Glaus and Adam Lind homered, Halladay won consecutive starts for the first time in more than a month and the Toronto Blue Jays beat the Washington Nationals 7-2 Friday night.
Halladay (7-2) won his third straight decision after missing 18 games because of an appendectomy.
"He's back," manager John Gibbons said of Halladay. "No doubt about that."
