SEATTLE (AP) - Lauren Jackson scored 21 of her 30 points in the second half when the Seattle Storm broke open a close game and went on to an 84-71 victory over the winless Houston Comets on Friday night.
Jackson made a 3-pointer and a baseline jumper at the start of the fourth quarter to give the Storm (5-4) a 14-point lead.
Hamchetou Maiga-Ba led the Comets (0-9) with 18 points, while Tina Thompson and Michelle Snow both had 12.
