MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - Seimone Augustus scored her 1,000th career point, reaching that mark in the second-fewest games in WNBA history, and the Minnesota Lynx won consecutive games for the first time this season with an 83-58 victory over Los Angeles on Saturday night.
Augustus finished with 12 points, and hit a jumper in the paint in the second quarter to put her over 1,000 in her 46th game. Houston's Cynthia Cooper did it in 45 games.
Kristen Mann scored 16 points and matched a career-best with four 3-pointers for the Lynx, who started the season 1-9.
