 CARSON, Calif. (AP) - Cobi Jones scored in the 65th minute to help the Los Angeles Galaxy beat Real Salt Lake 3-2 on Sunday night. Edson Buddle and Nate Jaqua also scored for the Galaxy (2-4-3), which snapped a five-game winless streak.
Kyle Martino set up Jones' goal, dribbling past two defenders on the left side of the penalty area before passing to Jones, who redirected the ball from five yards to extend the Galaxy's lead to 3-1.
Chris Brown scored twice for Real Salt Lake (0-5-6), which now has a 15-game winless streak spanning two seasons, the second-longest in Major League Soccer history.
