CHICAGO (AP) - DeLisha Milton-Jones scored 22 points and the Washington Mystics defeated the Chicago Sky 99-86 on Saturday night.
Alana Beard scored 17 points, Nikki Teasley had 15 and Nakia Sanford added 13 for the Mystics (3-10), who have won three of five after starting the season 0-8. Monique Currie, who was traded by the Sky to Washington on May 24 for Chasity Melvin, added 14 for the Mystics.
"Our defensive intensity has been picked up," Milton-Jones said. "Offensively, we're attacking the basket more."
