 DETROIT (AP) - Kenny Rogers had to wait another day to make his 2007 home debut.
Heavy rain caused Wednesday's game between the Texas Rangers and the Detroit Tigers to be rained out. The decision to call the game was made 1 hour, 26 minutes after the scheduled 1:05 p.m. EDT start, and the game was rescheduled as part of a day-night doubleheader on Sept. 11.
Rogers had been among seven 40-year-old starting pitchers slated to pitch for teams Wednesday. Now he's slated to go Thursday against Kevin Millwood.
