ATLANTA (AP) - Chipper Jones hopes the Atlanta Braves have seen the last of their offensive malaise.
"I was coming up with guys on third and less than two outs, it seemed like every at-bat," Jones said. "It makes my job easy when I can put the ball in play somewhere to the outfield."
Jones drove in four runs to back a strong start from John Smoltz, helping the Atlanta Braves beat Washington 13-0 on Wednesday night and sweep a three-game series from the Nationals.
