WASHINGTON (AP) - Once the lightning stopped, D.C. United resumed pouring goals down on the Colorado Rapids, scoring twice on either side of a short delay for a 4-1 victory on Thursday night.
Nicholas Addlery and Fred assisted each other on two goals, and Luciano Emilio added another after the match was delayed 28 minutes by lightning in the 77th minute.
