WASHINGTON (AP) - Alana Beard's three-point play with 13 seconds left capped a frenetic fourth-quarter rally during which the Mystics scored the game's final nine points for a 65-64 win Friday night over the WNBA-leading Detroit Shock.
Delisha Milton-Jones led Washington (5-10) with 19 points. Beard added 13 and Nakia Sanford scored 10 points for the Mystics who have won three straight and five out of seven after starting the season 0-8.
Deanna Nolan scored a season-high 26 points and Swin Cash added 10 for the Shock (11-3), who came into the game a league-best 6-1 on the road. The Mystics have beaten the Shock four straight times at home.
