DENVER (AP) - Federal regulators filed civil complaints Friday accusing four former ConAgra Foods Inc. executives of aiding and abetting in improper accounting practices that helped pump up profit statements.
The Securities and Exchange Commission named James P. O'Donnell, former chief financial officer; Jay D. Bolding, former controller; and Debra L. Keith, a former vice president of taxes, as defendants in one complaint filed in U.S. District Court.
The SEC filed a separate complaint against former controller Kenneth W. DiFonzo, 55, of Newport Beach, Calif. DiFonzo has been serving as a consultant to the company, DiFonzo said.
