OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) - Joe Blanton threw a four-hitter for his AL-leading third complete game and the Oakland Athletics win for the third time in four games, beating the Toronto Blue Jays 3-1 on Tuesday night.
Mark Kotsay drove in two runs and Jack Cust added an eighth inning home run for Oakland.
Jesse Litsch (1-3) returned to the Blue Jays starting rotation with seven strong innings but a pair of errors led to a pair of unearned runs. Litsch, who made four starts in May, allowed seven hits. He walked three and struck out five.
