 NEW YORK (AP) - Erin Thorn and Cathrine Kraayeveld scored 13 points apiece, leading the New York Liberty to a 71-61 victory over the Sacramento Monarchs on Sunday.
Loree Moore had 12 points and Shameka Christon added 10 for the Liberty (10-8), winners of three of four. After a stretch in which it lost eight of 11, New York has won consecutive games against last year's WNBA finals teams. The Liberty won 82-81 in overtime at Detroit on Friday night.
Rebekkah Brunson scored 18 points and Nicole Powell had 11 for Sacramento (12-7), which shot a season-low 32 percent and lost for the third time in five games.
