LONDON (AP) - The U.S. dollar was lower against other major currencies in European trading Monday. Gold prices rose.
The euro traded at $1.3632, up from $1.3621 late Friday. Later, in midday trading in New York, the euro fetched $1.3626.
Other dollar rates in Europe, compared with late Friday, included 123.21 Japanese yen, down from 123.40; 1.2156 Swiss francs, down from 1.2181; and 1.0478 Canadian dollars, down from 1.0490.
