 HOUSTON (AP) - Tamika Catchings scored 23 points to lead the Indiana Fever to a 79-77 victory over the Houston Comets on Tuesday night.
Indiana (14-4) held Houston to 10 fourth quarter points as the Comets made only 4-of-16 field goals in the final period. It was Indiana's first win in Houston.
The Fever tied the score at 73 on Catchings' layup with 4:26 left. She hit two free throws with 3:34 to go to give Indiana a two-point lead. Tammy Sutton-Brown extended the advantage to 77-73 with 2:01 left.
