LONDON (AP) - The euro hit another record high against the U.S. dollar in European trading Thursday. Gold rose.
The euro traded at $1.3765, up from $1.3761 late Wednesday. It moved as high as $1.3794 earlier in the day. Later, in midday trading in New York, the euro fetched $1.3784.
Other dollar rates in Europe, compared with late Wednesday, included 122.45 Japanese yen, up from 122.04; 1.2037 Swiss francs, down from 1.2038; and 1.0471 Canadian dollars, down from 1.0554.
