 INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - Reserve guard Tan White scored 16 points to lead the Indiana Fever to a 79-63 win over the New York Liberty on Thursday night for their franchise-record fifth straight victory.
Tamika Whitmore scored 12 points and Anna DeForge added 11 for Indiana. Tamika Catchings sat out the fourth quarter and fell one point short of her seventh double-double, finishing with nine points and 10 rebounds.
Shameka Christon led New York with 16 points, Janel McCarville had 13 points and six rebounds and Loree Moore added 12 points.
