LONDON (AP) - The U.S. dollar was mixed in European trading Friday. Gold prices fell.
The euro traded at $1.3780, down from $1.3797 late Thursday. Later, in midday trading in New York, the euro fetched $1.3788.
Other dollar rates in Europe, compared with late Thursday, included 122.30 Japanese yen, down from 122.41; 1.2031 Swiss francs, down from 1.2037; and 1.0486 Canadian dollars, up from 1.0469.
