AUBURN HILLS, Mich. (AP) - Katie Smith had 13 points and a career-high 11 rebounds to lead the Detroit Shock to their sixth straight victory, 66-58 over the the Washington Mystics on Saturday night.
Deanna Nolan scored 12 points and Plenette Pierson and Katie Feenstra added 10 apiece for the Shock (17-5), who played without forward Cheryl Ford. The All-Star game MVP rested her sprained right knee after combining for 77 minutes in games on Wednesday and Friday.
Smith had double-digit rebounds for the second time in her career, and first in six years.
