MIAMI (AP) - Dan Uggla broke a seventh-inning tie with a two-run homer, and the Florida Marlins routed the Cincinnati Reds for the third game in a row Sunday, 9-3.
Mike Jacobs also hit a two-run homer for the Marlins, who came into the game leading the major leagues with 29 homers in July.
While the Marlins finished their homestand 6-4, they lost shortstop Hanley Ramirez when he partially dislocated his left shoulder on a swing in the first inning. His status was day to day.
