MUMBAI, India (AP) - One of the main conspirators and brother of the mastermind of India's deadliest terror attack was sentenced to death Friday.
Justice Pramod Kode handed down the death penalty to Yakub Memon, saying he played a key role in procuring the weapons and explosives used in the serial attacks that killed 257 people in Mumbai in 1993.
Memon screamed after hearing the sentence and shouted: "Oh my lord, forgive him for he knows not what he does."
