NAIROBI, Kenya (AP) - All sides in the Somali capital's ferocious fighting have committed serious abuses, with indiscriminate attacks on civilian neighborhoods and hospitals, a leading human rights group said Monday.
Mogadishu, one of the world's most violent cities, has been ravaged by fighting that pits Somali troops and their Ethiopian allies against insurgents who are trying to topple the fragile administration.
Nearly 3,000 civilians have been killed this year by roadside bombs, mortar and grenade attacks and land mines, local rights group.
